Small brother of Redmi note 5 is here spec, pricing, features.

Today I'll talk about the Small brother of Redmi Note 5.
yes, I'm talking about the Redmi 5 which is a successor of Redmi 4.
So If you want to buy a smartphone on the price tag of Rs.9000 than keep on reading to get a better idea if you should buy this device or not.

So Xiaomi launched the Redmi 5 in India.
the device is very similar to Redmi Note 5 in terms of looks design.
The device comes with the Snapdragon 450 SOC which is based on 14nm finfet technology hence better battery life.
As the battery is a concern the device offers a 3300mAh battery which can drive a typical working day without connecting to the charger.
We get a 5.7'' 18:9 720p HD+ LCD screen it is good that we get a modern screen aspect ratio.
But I didn't like the fact that the phone does not support 4K recording but can record up to 1080p.
At the rear, we get a 12-megapixel (f/2.2) camera and a 5-megapixel (f/2.0) camera for selfies.
Xiaomi says that they have improved the camera well I hope it so.
Now talking about the sensors
Xiaomi has always given Evey necessary sensors, the device has the IR blaster so you can even control your AC, T.V, music Player...etc right from your phone without even searching for the remote for a particular device.
Well, I must say Xiaomi has improved the build as compared to Redmi 4 it's really tall and strongly Build.
The in-hand feel is really good and premium.
Bottom of Redmi 5.
On the right, we get the volume rockers and power button
The speaker grill is below the device
And on top, it has the IR blaster
The phone lacks on USB-C I feel would have been better to see Type C on this device but Miro USB is bad either.
Benchmark scores on Redmi 5.
We run an Antutu benchmark and the score we got was 69509 which is quite impressive.

For security, we get the fingerprint scanner at the back which is really responsive.
We get Android 7.1 out of the box which really failed to impress me well I hope Xiaomi will Give the Oreo with an OTA update.
This was for the OS and for UI we get the Xiaomi's very own MIUI 9
Which is really snappy and has quite a great features and animations.
If I have to pick anyone custom UI I will definitely go for the MIUI.
Redmi note 5 on the right.
And Redmi 5 on left.

Overall the phone is really similar to the Redmi Note 5 in terms of looks but even compared side by side the Redmi 5 is little smaller in size.
Now coming to the pricing the device comes in 3 models.
The first one has 2GB RAM & 16GB
Then secondly we get 3GB RAM & 32GB
And then we get a model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
XIAOMI has set the price for 2GB RAM is ₹7999/-
₹8999/- for 3GB RAM variant
And for 4GB RAM you have to spend ₹10999/-
If you are really thinking to buy the 3GB RAM variant for ₹8999/-
I would recommend to stretch your budget a little bit and get the Redmi Note 5 which has a better processor (Snapdragon 625) and offers a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Or you can also look for the Honour 9 lite which has a really better looks and camera.

Finally got the Feb security patch on MI A1.

Users were waiting for the security patch. The security patch was not given by the company in Feb. But it has been started to roll out today Check if you got the update too. The update weight is 87.3mb. We got the February's security patch in the first week of March so if XIAOMI keeps delaying the update like this then really sad to say but XIAOMI has failed to keep the promise of giving every update on time. I hope XIAOMI will speed up the process and get on time. This screenshot above are of my own MI A1 it just received the update. If you too got it comment it down. leaks for Oneplus 6.

So after the great success of Onepluse 5 and 5T company start to work on the 2018 model the Oneplus 6. recently we got see the leaked pic of Oneplus 6. In the pic, the device seems to have a notch at the top. On the back, we see a fingerprint scanner which is not circular. It has a shape similar to the fingerprint scanner present on the Samsung Galaxy S9. It the picture the device is having a shiny back, therefore, it would be a glass back. Now coming to the processor it will be having the latest flagship processor by Qualcomm. So in my point of view if this design is true then there will not be any on-screen fingerprint scanner. There is no leak information for the battery but I hope there will be a 3300mAh battery capacity. In the pic, we can see that the phone is running on 8.1 Oreo and has  OxygenOS 5.1.0. The power button is on the right of the device and volume rockers are present at the left. Thanks for your visit, feel free to leave a co...
