Asus Zenfone 5 VS Redmi Note 5 Pro and conclusion.

Hey...
Today I'll compare the Asus Zenfone 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The reason is both the device comes with the same chipset which is Snapdragon 636
And even has quite same specs to offer.
Hence in this comparison, you can get a better idea about which device you should be purchasing.

1. Design and build quality.
So talking about the design and build.
Zenfone 5 has a glass back which looks very premium.
On the other hand, Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with an aluminium body.
While comparing the Zenfone seems to be more appealing.
Both the phones have the rear camera setup similar to the iPhone X which looks better on the Zenfone.
As far the build quality is concerned Redmi has done a good job but Asus has taken it to another level due to the glass back.
But I doubt the durability of the glass used in Zenfone.
In my opinion, Asus wins the race in terms of build and looks.

2. AI Features.
This is sad but we do not get any latest AI features in the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Whereas the Zenfone offers AI features which helps in improving the user's experience.
The features are really helpful and rely on machine learning hence the device can customise itself according to the user.
I'll suggest going for the Zenfone 5.

3. Screen.
I believe there is no competition between this two devices when it comes to screen.
The Zenfone 5 is the best option amongst both devices due to the 90% screen to body ratio.
The phone has really small bezels which enhance the looks of the device.
while in Redmi Note 5Pro we get to see 18:9 screen aspect ratio with considerably big bezels.
The Zenfone 5 has a notch which is smaller as compared to iPhone X's notch.
The screen quality is good on both with good viewing angles.
In terms of colour accuracy, both do considerably well.
The Zenfone 5 is the winner due to the modern look.

4. Battery.
The Zenfone 5 comes with a 3300mAh battery which can last for a typical working day.
The device has support for fast charging.
We get to see a 4000mAh battery on the Redmi Note 5 Pro which is really good it can last for 1 and a half to 2 days depending on usage.
Fast charging is supported but no fast charging is bundled with the device.
If you want great battery life the Redmi Note 5 Pro is the way to go.

5. UI.
UI plays a great role while deciding how good is the user experience on the device.
A user constantly interacts with the UI on the device so it should be snappy and attractive
should have an eye-catching design.
Both the device comes with a custom UI.
The ZENUI on the Zenfone and MIUI on Redmi Note 5 Pro both are quite customizable and have a good design.
But I feel that MIUI is more snappy and gives a better experience to the user.

6. Camera.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro has a dual camera setup at the rear which is a pair of 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 sensor(f/2.2) and a 5-megapixel Samsung sensor(f/2.0).
The 5-megapixel shooter is mainly used for depth sensing.
On the other hand, we get a pair of 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 sensor coupled with a f/1.8 aperture and 8-megapixel sensor(f/2.2) on Zenfone 5.
So camera seems to be quite equal.
Now coming to the front camera
We get to see a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, LED flash.
On the Zenfone there is an 8-megapixel, with f/2.0 aperture.

7. OS.
As per OS is concern we get similar OS on both.
Zenfone 5 comes with 8.0 Oreo.
Where Redmi Note 5 Pro has 7.1.2 Naugat but will soon get the Oreo update so no bigger change seen.

Conclusion.
So, in conclusion, I would say it all depends on the pricing of the Zenfone 5.
If it's priced under 20k then it would be a better buy over Redmi note 5 Pro.
If I have to choose between this two I'll pick up the Asus Zenfone 5 as it offers more value.
Has the AI technology, great looks, 19:5 screen aspect ratio, 90% screen to body ratio.
But yet no one has the capability to beat the Redmi Note 5 Pro under 15K.
I hope Asus will play an aggressive game in terms of pricing.

Finally got the Feb security patch on MI A1.

Users were waiting for the security patch. The security patch was not given by the company in Feb. But it has been started to roll out today Check if you got the update too. The update weight is 87.3mb. We got the February's security patch in the first week of March so if XIAOMI keeps delaying the update like this then really sad to say but XIAOMI has failed to keep the promise of giving every update on time. I hope XIAOMI will speed up the process and get on time. This screenshot above are of my own MI A1 it just received the update. If you too got it comment it down. leaks for Oneplus 6.

So after the great success of Onepluse 5 and 5T company start to work on the 2018 model the Oneplus 6. recently we got see the leaked pic of Oneplus 6. In the pic, the device seems to have a notch at the top. On the back, we see a fingerprint scanner which is not circular. It has a shape similar to the fingerprint scanner present on the Samsung Galaxy S9. It the picture the device is having a shiny back, therefore, it would be a glass back. Now coming to the processor it will be having the latest flagship processor by Qualcomm. So in my point of view if this design is true then there will not be any on-screen fingerprint scanner. There is no leak information for the battery but I hope there will be a 3300mAh battery capacity. In the pic, we can see that the phone is running on 8.1 Oreo and has  OxygenOS 5.1.0. The power button is on the right of the device and volume rockers are present at the left. Thanks for your visit, feel free to leave a co...
