MI A1 vs Redmi Note 5 Pro...

hey...
as we all know Xiaomi has officially launched there Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi Note 5.
the Redmi note 5 which is a successor of last year's best selling smartphone Redmi note 4.
I'll also post a review of both the devices so stay tuned for that.
today ill compare MI A1 which was an android one device from Xiaomi and Redmi note 5 pro (4GB).
both the phones have some great specifications at there prices, both the devices sales at the price if RS.13,999/-
so the question arises which one is a better option???.
ill discuss in deep, so if you have the same question keep reading you'll definitely get your answer.
1. Build quality.
both the phone has the metallic build which feels quite premium the in-hand feel is really good for both the devices.
the Redmi note 5 pro is a little taller due to the 18:9 screen aspect ratio.
in my personal opinion, the MI A1 is slightly better in terms of looks.
2.Screen.
both the phones have good quality display. there no issues with the display.
but multimedia consumption is better on the Redmi note 5 pro due to the 18:9 screen aspect ratio
both the phones delivers good viewing angles the screen size is also bigger on the pro which 5.99 inch whereas we get as a 5.5-inch screen with old aspect ratio.
so in terms of the screen, the pro really gives a better user experience as compared to MI A1.
3. Battery.
The pro comes with a 4000 mAH battery and has fast charging. which is quite common nowadays where MI A1 has a battery capacity of 3080 mAH with no support to fast charge.
so its really clear that the Pro is a better option when battery life is a concern.
in my usage, i got a whole typical working day on MI A1 with some juice left. but the pro really impressed me by giving a battery life for around 2 days the only thing I didn't like was the lack of type-c port on the Pro.
if you want a device with really good battery performance you should go for the Pro.
4.Gaming.
there was no much difference both the devices handled the game well.
I played casual games like subway surf and there were no issues while intensive gaming there was no lags seen on both. so as per the gaming is a concern both can handle casual to high gaming.
both the phones don't really heat much while gaming.
5.Camera.
now the main topic is there any difference in the camera performance. so the right and simple answer are yes,
the MI A1 has a pair of 12mp shooter each wherein Pro we get a pair of 12mp and 5mp shooters.
so which one is better??
in terms of depth in feel shots, both phones do a good job but Redmi Note 5 Pro's pic came out to be sharper the details are really goodwhile jumping to the depth in feel mode the MI A1's camera zooms a bit due to the telephoto lens.
while clicking pics in normal mode the pro does slightly better.
so overall the rear cameras offering an same kind of quality there no much difference but this is not the case with the front camera.
the 20 mp camera on the pro can take depth in feel shots which are lacking on the A1.
the picture is really good took from the pro. the depth in feel shots from a single 20mp camera on the pro is possible due to the Algorithms. the pro can record video up to 1080p resolution and has EIS but 4k video recording is available on A1 with no EIS or OIS.
in my point of view pro is the way you should go due to its picture quality, depth in feel pictures from the front camera, and also has the EIS.
6.Performance.
the Pro has the latest Snapdragon 636 octa-core chipset which much more powerful than the Snapdragon 625 on the MI A1.
the Snapdragon 636 has the flagship DNA due to the kryo 260 based cores.
so on the page, Pro seems to be really much more powerful than the MI A1. In my day to day usage, i didn't notice any difference both the devices is quite snappy. we get a total stock experience on the A1 whereas we get a custom UI my Xaiomi.
the Pro runs on the OS 7.1.1 and MIUI 9, A1 has the OS 8.0. the pro would get the Oreo soon.
My opinion
both the phones are good but Redmi note 5 pro offers a better deal due to this followings.
  • Better camera performance depth in feel mode on both front camera as well as on rear camera is available.
  • 18:9 screen aspect ration.
  • Better processor.
  • fast charging is available.
  • Battery life is great.

Finally got the Feb security patch on MI A1.

Users were waiting for the security patch. The security patch was not given by the company in Feb. But it has been started to roll out today Check if you got the update too. The update weight is 87.3mb. We got the February's security patch in the first week of March so if XIAOMI keeps delaying the update like this then really sad to say but XIAOMI has failed to keep the promise of giving every update on time. I hope XIAOMI will speed up the process and get on time. This screenshot above are of my own MI A1 it just received the update. If you too got it comment it down. leaks for Oneplus 6.

So after the great success of Onepluse 5 and 5T company start to work on the 2018 model the Oneplus 6. recently we got see the leaked pic of Oneplus 6. In the pic, the device seems to have a notch at the top. On the back, we see a fingerprint scanner which is not circular. It has a shape similar to the fingerprint scanner present on the Samsung Galaxy S9. It the picture the device is having a shiny back, therefore, it would be a glass back. Now coming to the processor it will be having the latest flagship processor by Qualcomm. So in my point of view if this design is true then there will not be any on-screen fingerprint scanner. There is no leak information for the battery but I hope there will be a 3300mAh battery capacity. In the pic, we can see that the phone is running on 8.1 Oreo and has  OxygenOS 5.1.0. The power button is on the right of the device and volume rockers are present at the left. Thanks for your visit, feel free to leave a co...
