The fortune for Asus was not good in back 2017.
But this might be not the case in 2018, The company has unveiled the smartphone in MWC 2018.
Looks are quite similar to iPhone X due to the notch at the top.
The build quality is very good, it has a premium feel.
In terms of build quality, Asus has really done a great job.
Coming to the specs the phone is powered by the latest processor by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 which is also used in the Redmi note 5 pro.
So this phone will definitely beat the Redmi note pro if priced under 20k.
The device has a 12mp and 8mp (f/1.8 & f/2.2) shooter at the back, there is a wide angle lens instead of Telephoto lens. We get an 8mp (f/2.0) shooter responsible for selfies.
The device will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.
There's a good news for music lovers as this phone has a DTS Headphone X
Due to which the sound delivered from the 3.5 mm jack would be great.
I hope this phone will have a good enough battery life with a battery capacity of 3300mAH.
We got a great battery life on Redmi note pro using the same processor.
So I feel Zenfone 5 would also be having a good battery life.
For the screen, we are getting a 6.2 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
The resolution is 1080 x 2246 pixels (~402ppi density)
The phone is capable of fast charging.
And the most importantly it can record videos at 4K whereas Redmi note 5 pro is limited to 1080p.
As per the OS is a concern we are getting the 8.0 Oreo.
Now coming to the pricing there is not fixed information about the pricing of this device but in my opinion, if Asus play an aggressive game in terms of pricing this device then it will make Redmi note 5 pro to run for its money.
If this device comes in the Indian market with a price tag of about ₹14,000 or ₹16,000
Definitely, I'll suggest you go for this device over Redmi note 5 pro.
The device is really good but it all depends on the pricing.
Thanks for your visit,
