12 tips to improve the battery life and keeping the battery healthy.

In this Article, I'll talk about 20 tactics to archive better battery life this tips will also help to keep your battery healthy.
Believe me, if you follow all my tactics you'll see the difference. This is all my personal tactics so... I hope you would like them.
This all tactics are just to improve your current battery life and charging time. If you are hoping that you would be getting a battery life of two days or more. I'm sorry to say but it would not happen unless your phone has the potential to deliver such a good battery life.
But my 20 tips would give you a better and healthy battery in the long run.

My 1st tip.
Switch on the flight mode while charging.
This is one of the best ways to decrease the time taken by your device to charge.
If you are not going to receive or make any important call then you can give this a try, reason behind the tip is that when your phone is charging it is also using the juice at the same time. Because of the network connectivity, the device uses the battery to keep you connected to the network. After switching to the flight mode the device would consume minimal battery and you will charge your device faster.

2nd tip.
Prevent your device's battery percentage dropping below 20%.
This is the most important tip I give to everyone, there is a misconception that a person should fully discharge the device before charging it. I have shown many people using their smartphone till the battery dies off totally before charging their device. If you are doing the same please stop doing it as this will only harm your battery, you'll harm your battery life as a result. The lithium-ion and polymer batteries used in our smartphones just get harmed by discharging them fully.
So always try to prevent your battery percentage dropping below 20. If there's no option then you can use it.

3rd tip.
Don't use your device while charging it.
It is fine to use your device while charging as it would not do any harm but at the same time, you are increasing the charging time of your device.
If you are using your phone you are using the battery and charging it at the same time is like filling a bucket with water while emptying it at the same time.
I'll suggest not to use your device if there's nothing important.

4th tip.
Never play games while charging.
See if you use your phone while charging it is fine there would be no damage caused to your device but gaming while charging can harm your battery due to the heat generated while gaming.
heat is the main enemy of your battery while charging. our phones tend to get warm and its fine. and when you play games your phone generates heat which is fine too.
The problem is when you play while charging the heat generated by charging as well as gaming can harm your device.
If your device has a problem of overheating then I will strongly recommend not to play while you charge if you do the battery will be damaged.

5th tip.
Don't clear your RAM or recent apps as it would eat some extra juice.
I have seen many, like a lot of smartphone users cleaning up the RAM by killing the apps from the recent menu.
They think that the apps running in the background would drain the battery faster.
But this is not the case our smartphones are really smart enough to do all this task the device itself knows when to and which app to kill.
In fact, when you are not cleaning the RAM you are saving your battery.
Because when you launch an app, for example, YOUTUBE the app gets loaded into the RAM memory this loading or launching process uses more battery than the app does.
as you clean the recent app menu the apps you launched like YOUTUBE gets removed from the RAM memory then when you again launch the YOUTUBE or any other app it will consume power to get loaded into the RAM memory.
You might be questioning that if you left the app in the RAM then will it consume power? the simple answer is no, It would stop consuming battery as soon as you stop using the app the smartphone pauses the apps which you are not using currently Therefore there is no power consumed by the apps
after when you will again launch the app it would get continued from the point you left it using.
So if you clear the RAM stop it now it will save the battery consumed in launching it over and over again.
apps for showing data connection speed, music player etc are made to keep working in the background this kind of apps will consume battery.

6th tip.
Charge your battery with a normal charger.
Nowadays most of the smart-phones are capable of fast charging. which is really good but I have noticed that when I charge a particular smart-phone with a normal charger I get 15 to 20 percent longer battery life as compared to when I charge the same device with a fast charger.
If you keep your device plugged into charger whole night then use a normal charger. Don't get me wrong charging with the fast charger is fine too.
but when it comes to charging your device whole night go for a normal charger.
use a good quality charger. It would be better to charge your device with the charger having the same branding as the device do.

7th tip.
Switch off the GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth, Data connection while not needed.
This all wireless connections consumes a really big amount of battery.
If you are not using any of them then just switch it off, It will save unnecessary drainage of battery. For example, While you are using the Wifi switch off the Data connection.

8th tip.
Switch off the network, while low signal strength.
The most important work of our smartphone is to stay connected with the network for making or receiving calls or text messages.
While having low signal strength our device starts to consume a huge amount of power to just stay connected to the network.
when you don't need the network switch off the particular network receiving low signals.
Switch on the network when you want to make any call or send a text message after completing it turn it off again.

9th tip.
Cut out the unnecessary live wallpaper.
Many smartphones users like to use live wallpaper which keeps on moving.
This type of wallpapers constantly uses the battery.
please don't use any unnecessary live wallpaper which will consume a large amount of battery.
Use a simple still wallpaper and save the battery.

10th tip.
Don't use unnecessary widgets.
Live widgets really come in handy for some, but unnecessarily using it will lead you getting a below average battery life.
Widgets for weather forecast is useless unless your planning to grill chicken in your garden while its monsoon.
So don't use live widgets on your home screen unless you really need them.

11th tip.
Use your phone with low or medium brightness level.
The thing that consumes most of the juice is nothing else but the screen we can't stop it but we can minimize is quite a bit by decreasing the brightness levels.
No one really likes to suggest the brightness over and over again so what to do.
Use auto brightness it will suggest the brightness save the battery which could be drained by unnecessary high levels of brightness levels.

12th tip.
Use lite / small version of apps.
This is one of my personal favourite ways to save battery.
Using the lite version of an app will definitely save battery.
Using a lite app is also good for your device as it is small in size so doesn't need much RAM space if you're using a device with 1GB of RAM then you should use the lite version of apps if available.

So this where my 12 tips on saving your battery and maintaining the health of your battery.

Finally got the Feb security patch on MI A1.

Users were waiting for the security patch. The security patch was not given by the company in Feb. But it has been started to roll out today Check if you got the update too. The update weight is 87.3mb. We got the February's security patch in the first week of March so if XIAOMI keeps delaying the update like this then really sad to say but XIAOMI has failed to keep the promise of giving every update on time. I hope XIAOMI will speed up the process and get on time. This screenshot above are of my own MI A1 it just received the update. If you too got it comment it down. leaks for Oneplus 6.

So after the great success of Onepluse 5 and 5T company start to work on the 2018 model the Oneplus 6. recently we got see the leaked pic of Oneplus 6. In the pic, the device seems to have a notch at the top. On the back, we see a fingerprint scanner which is not circular. It has a shape similar to the fingerprint scanner present on the Samsung Galaxy S9. It the picture the device is having a shiny back, therefore, it would be a glass back. Now coming to the processor it will be having the latest flagship processor by Qualcomm. So in my point of view if this design is true then there will not be any on-screen fingerprint scanner. There is no leak information for the battery but I hope there will be a 3300mAh battery capacity. In the pic, we can see that the phone is running on 8.1 Oreo and has  OxygenOS 5.1.0. The power button is on the right of the device and volume rockers are present at the left. Thanks for your visit, feel free to leave a co...
